JICA-Supported Project to Enhance the Capacity of Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) (2 April 2026)
2026/4/3
On April 2, Chargé d’Affaires Tanigaki attended an equipment handover ceremony held as part of the JICA-supported project to strengthen the capacity of RTK. In his opening remarks, he stated: “This cooperation would strongly support RTK’s efforts to further promote the social integration of diverse communities within the country through its television programming.”
The project seeks to promote inter-ethnic integration within RTK’s news reporting and program production by developing mechanisms for inter-ethnic cooperation, supporting the establishment of RTK branch offices, and assisting in the creation of inclusive programming that takes into account all communities. Through these efforts, it will contribute to RTK’s development as a public service broadcaster trusted by all ethnic communities.
