Donation of books to the Central Library of the University of Pristina “READ JAPAN PROJECT”

On December 9th, Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, we donated Japan-related books in English to the Central Library of the University of Prishtina under the "READ JAPAN PROJECT". This initiative, operated by The Tokyo Foundation and funded by The Nippon Foundation, aims to promote global understanding of Japan through books.
At the ceremony attended by Prof. Hajrullahu, Rector of the University of Prishtina and other university officials. Mr. Tanigaki, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, delivered the list of the donated books.
A total of 181 Japan-related books in English were donated and are now part of the collection at the Japanese Corner, a newly established space within the University of Prishtina's Central library.
