GGP Signing Ceremony for “The Project for the Provision of Medical Equipment for the Diagnostic Center Gracanica” has been held (20 January 2026)

On 20 January 2026, the Signing Ceremony of the Grant Contract to provide medical equipment to Diagnostic Center Gracanica was held at the Municipality of Gracanica. The contract was signed by Mr. Hiroyasu TANIGAKI, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo and Mr. Novak ŽIVIĆ, the Mayor of the Municipality of Gracanica. This project will be implemented through Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects.

Approved Amount : 59,700 Euros
Overview : The project aims at improving quality of health care services for the people in Gračanica and surrounding regions by providing medical equipment at the Gračanica Diagnostic Center. By installing an immunoassay analyzer, approximately 4,100 patients per year will be able to receive highly accurate diagnosis, allowing for early detection of diseases. In addition, by introducing a Radial Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy device, approximately 430 patients per year will be able to receive appropriate treatment.
