On 29 April 2025, the handover ceremony of “The Project for Improvement of the Main Family Health Center ‘Adem Ukehaxhaj’ in Municipality of Decan through Provision of Medical Equipment” was held.
Mr. Hasan Gjikokaj, Director of the Main Family Health Center in Decan, Mr. Bashkim Ramosaj, Mayor of Decan, Mr. Hiroyasu TANIGAKI, Chargés d'Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, and relevant actors from the hospitals attended the ceremony.
The project aims at the improvement of medical and dental services provided by the Center through provision of one Ultrasound device, one Gynecological chair and one Autoclave. The suite of equipment provided through this project have enabled the gynecology department to provide diagnostic services to approximately 5,000 patients per year, as well as safe and timely treatment to approximately 3,000 patients at dentistry department.
