Signing Ceremony of two projects for GGP 2023 has been held (6 February 2024)

On 6 February 2024, the Grant Contract for two projects under the Japanese Government’s Grant Assistance for Grass Roots and Human Security Projects (GGP) have been signed. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Keisuke YAMANAKA, Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Mr. Bexhet XHELADINI, Mayor of Dragash Municipality, Mr. Abdulhadi KRASNIC, Mayor of Mamusha Municipality and Mr. Enis KERVAN, Chairperson of the Multi-ethnic Parliamentary Group and member of Kosovo-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group.
“The Project for the Provision of a Waste Storage House in Restelica Village, Municipality of Dragash” with the amount of 71,014 euros.
This project aims at the improvement of their living environment through the provision of the waste storage house. The expected beneficiaries are approximately 4,700 residents of the village.
“The Project for the Provision of a X-ray Equipment for the Main Family Medicine Center in Mamusha Municipality” with the amount of 70,140 euros.
This project aims to improve medical services provided by Main Family Medicine Centre in Mamusha Municipality through provision of X-ray equipment. The expected beneficiaries are approximately 1,500 patients per year.
