Signing Ceremony of two projects for GGP 2023 has been held (24 October 2023)

On 24 October 2023, the Grant Contract of two projects under the Japanese Government’s Grant Assistance for Grass Roots and Human Security Projects (GGP) have been signed. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Arben VITIA, Minister of Health, Mr. Elvir AZIZI, General Director of University Hospital and Clinical Service of Kosovo, Mr. Arsim EMINI, Executive Director of General Hospital of Gjilan, Ms. Narqize ARENLIU-HOXHAJ, Executive Director of General Hospital of Prizren and Mr. Keisuke YAMANAKA, Charge d’ Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo.
“The Project for the Provision of Medical Equipment for the General Hospital of Gjilan” with the amount of 66,710 euros.
The project aims at the improvement of medical services provided by General Hospital of Gjilan through provision of one endoscope apparatus and necessary accessories. The expected beneficiaries is approximately 1,200 patients per year.
“The Project for the Provision of Physiotherapy Equipment for the General Hospital of Prizren” with the amount of 45,264 euros.
The project aims at the improvement of medical services provided by General Hospital of Prizren through provision of set of physiotherapy equipment such as electrotherapy and ultrasound equipment. The expected beneficiaries is approximately 3,000 patients per year.
