On March 23, 2023, Handover Ceremony of “The Project for Providing a Tractor to Promote Agriculture in Municipality of Skenderaj” has been held. Mr. Keisuke YAMANAKA, Charge d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Mr. Fadil NURA, Mayor of the Municipality of Skenderaj, Ms. Fetije SMAKAJ, Executive Director of Beekeeping Women Association “SHGB Okarina e Runikut”, and members of the Association attended the ceremony.
The project aims to promote agricultural development in the region as well as to provide opportunities for women and youth to work in agriculture sector through the provision of a tractor and its accessories to the NGO “Okarina e Runikut”, Skenderaj.
