Signing Ceremony for GGP 2022 “The Project for Providing a Tractor to Promote Agriculture in Municipality of Skenderaj” has been held (26 October 2022)

On October 26th 2022, the Grant Contract for a project under the Japanese Government’s Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots and Human Security Projects (GGP) has been signed. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Keisuke YAMANAKA, Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Mr. Fadil NURA, Mayor of Skenderaj Municipality and Ms. Fetije SMAKAJ, Executive Director, Beekeeping Women Association “SHGB Okarina e Ranikut”.
“The Project for Providing a Tractor to Promote Agriculture in Municipality of Skenderaj” with the amount of 75,980 euros.
The aim of the project is to promote agricultural development in the region as well as to provide opportunities for women and youth to work in agriculture sector through the provision of a tractor and its accessories to the NGO “Okarina e Runikut”, Skenderaj.
