On October 14th 2021, Handover Ceremony of “The Project for Renovation of the School Annex of Primary and Lower Secondary School “Meto Bajraktari” in Prishtina” has been held and the Charge d’ Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Mitsunori OGASAWARA, School Principal Ms. Zeqiri, the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Mr. Pupovci as well as the Director of Municipality Directorate of Education Ms. Shala attended the ceremony.
The objective of the project was to ensure safety and improve the learning environment of students by renovating the school annex. Through this project, 49 windows, 28 doors, 1,170 square meters ceiling, 1,850 square meters interior wall, 3 toilets, sewer lines, 17 heating units, and 60 meters roof were repaired. It is expected that 1,500 students and 91 teachers will be directly benefiting from the project by receiving a safe educational setting in the renovated facilities.
