Handover Ceremony for medical equipment has been held (25 May 2021)

On May 25th 2021, 20 Syringe Pumps and 10 Electrocardiograms has been donated as the first part of Japanese medical equipment by the Government of Japan. The donation which has a total value of 810, 000 euros aims to support the efforts of the Ministry of Health to improve its health and medical system in the fight against COVID-19.
The handover ceremony of the medical equipment was jointly held by the Minister of Health, Dr. Arben VITIA and Ambassador of Japan to Kosovo, Mr. Akira MIZUTANI who has stressed that Japan has been standing alongside of Kosovo throughout the difficult time of COVID-19 and will stay committed to support Kosovo to strengthening its health sector.
The equipment will be distributed to the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (UCCK) and other regional hospitals throughout Kosovo.
