1. About Police Certificate

A police certificate is a statement that you don’t have a criminal record or, if you have one, a copy of your criminal record.
Police certificates are different in each country who called Police clearance certificate, Certificate of criminal record…etc.
Japanese Police certificates(Keisatsu-Shomei警察証明) are issued only when requested by certain authorities as required by law.
The applicant has had any criminal or not in Japan and will be issued in Japanese, English, French, German and Spanish.
It takes to process approximately three months. When you apply for a certificate.

2. Required Documents

-Valid Passport
-Application form (provided by our office)
-Fingerprint Form (provided by our office)
  Your fingerprints taken at our office
-Documents (such as a letter, printed applicable parts) from the authority requesting the Police Certificate and a textual extract of the relevant law.

Fees: There is no fee.

NOTE: Japanese Police Certificates must be submitted sealed. If the seal is broken, the certificate is no longer valid.
